How do I copy or duplicate a record?

Display the record in the detail view, optionally make changes to the displayed data and click on the Add button. Readerware adds a new record to the database containing the displayed data with your changes.

If you want to add add multiple copies of an item with the same ISBN or UPC, you will have to turn on the option to allow duplicates in preferences.

Suppose you want to manually add a few books by the same author. From the main window click on the Add Book toolbar button, enter the first book and click on Add.

Now change the displayed data to reflect the second book, click Add and so on.
