Upgrading from Readerware 3

Existing Readerware 3 users will have a free 30 day evaluation of Readerware 4. After your evaluation Readerware 3 users can upgrade to Readerware 4.

If you purchased Readerware 3 or upgraded to Readerware 3 on or after January 1st 2017, the upgrade is free. If you are eligible for the free upgrade send your upgrade request to upgrades@readerware.com. Please include sufficient information so that we can locate your original order and send you new registration codes.

If you purchased Readerware 3 before January 1st 2017, you can order an upgrade.

Installation Instructions

Readerware is distributed as a drive image. Mount the drive and drag the Readerware applications to your Applications folder.  Instructions are included in the distribution.

Minimum System Requirements

The minimum system requirements will depend on which version of MacOS you are running.

macOS Mojave (10.14):

  • macOS Mojave supported Mac computer
  • 2 GB of RAM or higher.
  • At least 200 MB of disk space

macOS High Sierra (10.13):

  • macOS High Sierra supported Intel Mac computer
  • 2 GB of RAM or higher.
  • At least 200 MB of disk space

macOS Sierra (10.12):

  • macOS Sierra supported Intel Mac computer
  • 2 GB of RAM or higher.
  • At least 200 MB of disk space

Mac OS X El Capitan (10.11):

  • El Capitan supported Intel Mac computer
  • 2 GB of RAM or higher.
  • At least 200 MB of free disk space

Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10):

  • Yosemite supported Intel Mac computer
  • 2 GB of RAM or higher.
  • At least 200 MB of disk space

Mac OS X Mavericks (10.9):

  • Mavericks supported Intel Mac computer
  • 2 GB of RAM or higher.
  • At least 200 MB of free disk space

Mac OS X Mountain Lion (10.8):

  • Mountain lion supported Intel Mac computer
  • 2 GB of RAM or higher.
  • At least 200 MB of disk space
