Can I Add a Column or Field to a Readerware Database?

Select the Preferences menu item, then Database, then User Columns.

Check the Active check box for the column(s) you want to add, enter a short title and select the column type.

You can then add the new column to the table view. User Defined columns will automatically appear in the detail view.

You can optionally add the new column to your search list.

Your new column will be displayed using the title you define. However internally in the database user defined columns are referred to as User1-User10. You will need to use the internal database name when selecting columns for export etc., User1 is the first user defined column, User2 the second ...
