Readerware 2.985 for Linux

Readerware is available for Linux. Downloads include all Linux versions of Readerware, ReaderwareVW and ReaderwareAW. Please review the Readerware Release Notes before installing.

Linux Downloads

• Linux 32 bit Installer (41MB) - This file includes all Readerware programs for 32 bit Linux systems.
  Primary Download Site - Secondary Download Site

  To install decompress the downloaded file, rware.tar.gz:

  gunzip rware.tar.gz
tar -xvf rware.tar

  This will create a readerware directory in the current directory.


• Linux 64 bit Installer (35MB) - This file includes all Readerware programs for 64 bit Linux systems.
  Primary Download Site - Secondary Download Site

  To install decompress the downloaded file, rwarex64.tar.gz:

  gunzip rwarex64.tar.gz
tar -xvf rwarex64.tar

  This will create a readerware directory in the current directory.

Minimum System Requirements

• Pentium processor or better
• 64 megabytes (MB) or higher recommended. Check minimum requirements for the Linux distribution you are using.
• At least 90 MB of free disk space

For best results a screen resolution of at least 800 by 600 and more than 256 colors is recommended. As usual more memory equals better performance.

The Readerware ReadMe and the Readerware Release Notes contain additional information for all users. Both are included in the download distribution.
