Where does Readerware store preferences?

These are stored outside of the database in a location determined by the operating system. These can contain system specific information like paths, window positions etc. which may not transfer well. But they also contain information like views and user column definitions that should transfer OK.

Preferences are stored in a folder called .readerware (note the leading period). To transfer preferences, you need to copy this folder from one machine to the other. Refer to the list below for the location. If you are changing operating systems, you must copy it to the correct location for the new OS, it won't always be at the same location as the old machine.
