Download Readerware 3.30 for Mac OS X

Readerware products will run with Mac OS X 10.4 or higher on both Intel and PowerPC Macs. Readerware products will run on both 32 and 64 bit machines. If you have a 64 bit Mac, Readerware runs in 64 bit mode.

When upgrading to Readerware 3, do not drag your current Readerware 2 applications to the trash can. The new version will install alongside Readerware 2. Once you have your databases converted and everything running in Readerware 3, you can optionally remove Readerware 2.

Installation Instructions

Readerware is distributed as a drive image. Mount the drive and drag the Readerware applications to your Applications folder.  Instructions are included in the distribution.

Minimum System Requirements

The minimum system requirements will depend on which version of Mac OS X you are running.

Mac OS X Mountain Lion (10.8):

• Mountain lion supported Intel Mac computer
• 2 GB of RAM or higher.
• At least 50 MB of free disk space

Mac OS X Lion (10.7):

• Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
• 2 GB of RAM or higher.
• At least 50 MB of free disk space

Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6):

• Mac computer with an Intel processor
• 1 GB of RAM or higher.
• At least 50 MB of free disk space

Mac OS X Leopard (10.5):

• Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
• 512 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher.
• At least 50 MB of free disk space

Mac OS X Tiger (10.4):

• Mac computer with a PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 processor
• 256 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher.
• At least 50 MB of free disk space
