Readerware 1.02

A new version of Readerware has been released. Readerware 1.02 is a bug fix release, it fixes a bug that caused a batch import to fail if a category contained special characters. We recommend that all users upgrade to Readerware 1.02.

Upgrading to Readerware 1.02

The easiest way to upgrade to Readerware 1.02, is to download the upgrade file at http://www.readerware.com/downloads/rwupdw32.exe. This is a self extracting file, just double-click on it to begin the upgrade. Make sure you pick the same directory as you installed Readerware in and then click the Unzip button. Your existing Readerware 1.x installation will be upgraded to 1.02.

If you have any problems with the upgrade, please contact us at support@readerware.com.

If you prefer you can download the full install at http://www.readerware.com/downloads/rwarew32.exe, but the upgrade is a lot smaller.

The Readerware User Home Page

We have redesigned the Readerware User Home Page.

When you first open the browser window in Readerware, the Readerware User Home Page is displayed. We use this page to alert you to Readerware updates and features etc. We recently redesigned the user home page. The new Partner link lists all the partner sites you can search and order from within Readerware, just click on a partner logo to visit their site. The new Specials link lists special promotions and values offered by our partner sites. These can save you money, so be sure to check out the specials page each time you run Readerware.

To order follow the logo or specials links and when you find a book you want to purchase, press the import button to add it to your database and shopping cart. When you have finished you can then use the Readerware shopping cart to place your orders and take advantage of the special offers.

Support Readerware

You can support Readerware and ensure that the new features keep on coming. Use Readerware when making your online purchases. If you order using the Readerware browser or shopping cart, Readerware normally receives a commission from the vendor. The Readerware browser uses the same encryption technology as the major browsers so you can order online, safely and securely using Readerware. Plus it ensures continued development of Readerware.
