Welcome to Readerware Release 2.21 ================================== Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME ======================== Installation - Readerware for Windows is distributed as a self installing executable file. To install simply run the file you downloaded, rwarew32.exe, and follow the instructions displayed. Uninstall - In the unlikely event that you want to uninstall Readerware, click on the uninstall icon added to the start menu. Linux/Unix ========== Installation - Readerware for Linux is distributed as a self installing executable file. To install simply run the file you downloaded, rwarew.bin, and follow the instructions displayed. You may need to change the file permissions before executing the installed: chmod a+x rware.bin. Uninstall - In the unlikely event that you want to uninstall Readerware, click on the uninstall link added by the installer. Other Platforms =============== In theory Readerware will run on any platform that provides a Java 2 VM. Current Java 2 capable platforms are: Windows (Win95/98/NT/2000/ME) Solaris Linux If you have a Java 2 VM running on another platform, you should try the Linux/Unix no frills distribution.
