These are original, unmodified CueCat wand barcode readers. They will work with all Readerware products on all platforms.

The USB version will work on PCs with a USB port and USB support in the OS, (Windows 98 or higher, Mac OS X and Linux). Most users will want the USB version.

Mac OS X users must select the USB version.

PS/2 CueCats will work on all IBM compatible desktop PCs with a PS/2 keyboard, regardless of which operating system is installed. Most machines today have USB support so normally you should select the USB CueCat. If you have an older desktop machine without USB support, you should select the PS/2 CueCat.
